The Shepherd's Cupboard and Closet is open help in time of need. We want to be able to meet your physical needs and be a reflection of God's love.
SHEPHERD'S FOOD CUPBOARD
Did you know that roughly 14% of the US population (46.2 mil people) have suffered from food insecurity in the last 12 months?

Our cupboard is stocked with non-perishable dry goods, bread, frozen goods, and toiletries. We make it available to anyone who has a need, and we do not require anything from you other than a need.
SHEPHERD'S CLOTHING CLOSET
We're glad to be able to provide gently used clothing for all ages; free of charge is what our closet is all about.
We don't ask questions, and you don't have to be bashful in how much you take. We're here to serve and support you. Just consider us a clothing store without a register.
Bridgehaven
Pregnancy Center
We are grateful to be able to partner with and financially support The Bridgehaven Pregnancy Center. Bridgehaven provides a safe place for individuals to receive support, education, and medical services related to pregnancy, and helps young moms and dads walk through the decisions and changes they face.
Precious Lambs
Childcare & Preschool
As a ministry of Good Shepherd Baptist Church, the goal of Precious Lambs Childcare & Preschool is to provide parents with a childcare option where they can be sure their children are in a safe and loving environment for them to learn, grow, and become exactly who God designed them to be. We offer dedicated care for infants, toddlers, and preschool children.
ANNUAL COMMUNITY EVENTS
Throughout the year, we host and participate in events to serve our neighbors and support local causes.
LIFESERVE BLOOD DRIVE
Each year, Good Shepherd Baptist Church partners with LifeServe Blood Center to host an annual blood drive that helps provide lifesaving donations to patients throughout our community.
SCHOOL BACKPACK DRIVE
To equip students in our community for the upcoming school year, each child receives a new backpack filled with the school supplies for their class age.
CHRISTMAS TOY STORE
We collect new or gently used toys for families in need to come "shop" for their kids. A toy store without a register is available between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
COMMUNITY CAR SHOW
A free event for the community where Hot Rods, classics, drag racing, and many more models will be on display in our church parking lot. All proceeds benefit the Shepherd's Cupboard and Closet
REACHING OUR WORLD
Our heart for people extends far beyond Cedar Rapids. Good Shepherd Baptist Church is committed to spreading the Gospel worldwide by supporting foreign missionaries serving around the globe.
The Stahlmans
Missionaries to Europe
Matt and Cathy Stahlman are veteran missionaries with over 20 years of missions work. They are fully committed to sharing the Gospel in Europe and beyond. By recruiting and training missionaries, assisting churches, and passionately proclaiming the Gospel, they aim to fulfill the Great
Commission in their generation.
The Faldes
Missionaries to Haiti
Kevin and Emily Falde have been serving in Haiti since 2010, and have had the privilege of being part of multiple church plants during that time. Please pray much for their safety in this dangerous field.
The Marcos
Missionaries to the Philippines
Douglas and Angie Marco are veteran missionaries to the Philippines and are based in Talisay City. The Marcos have been in the Philippines for 14 years. Bro. Douglas is the pastor of Faith Baptist Church of Talisay. Please keep the Marco family and their work in your prayers.
